I've been a business and life coach for about 5 years now but I have 16+ years corporate and internet marketing experience (wow that makes me feel soooo old lol). ⁠

Urgh, that judge and jury are MEAN my friend.⁠

We think "I'm not _____ enough" to do that and we pull back.⁠
⁠
But here's the thing. NOTHING becomes great without a crappy first draft, in life or in work.⁠
⁠
A shiny new month is a great time to screw up your courage and get started. ⁠
⁠

Have you ever said to yourself “I just need more

Have you ever said to yourself “I just need more confidence and then I’ll be able to launch my business, be more visible, get that promotion?” ⁠

Have you said to yourself “I just need more confidence and then I’ll start that training plan, set better boundaries, step out and do those live videos?” ⁠
⁠
Friend, “I just need more confidence” is actually one of the biggest lies we tell ourselves!⁠
⁠
Now, heck, we don’t mean to do this of course, it’s just that confidence is such a buzz word, we honestly believe it’s the secret ingredient we’re missing. But in actual fact confidence is a by-product.⁠
⁠
To hit our goals and become more successful in our work and our lives, we need to move from our comfort zone where everything ticks along quite nicely, into our growth zone which is where ALL our personal and professional development happens. ⁠
⁠
And despite what you might think, we don’t need confidence to take that step - we need two other things.⁠
⁠
The first of those things is CLARITY. ⁠
⁠
➡️Clarity says I know who I am and why I do what I do. ⁠
➡️Clarity says I’m crystal clear about my ideal life vision and I act with intention every day to move towards it. ⁠
➡️Clarity says I honor my commitments to myself and say NO to things that don’t align with who I am. ⁠
➡️Clarity says I may have to move to plan B or even C but I’m not afraid to make mistakes because I know the path to my success isn’t a straight line and every misstep along the way is just a lesson on my journey.⁠

The second thing is COURAGE. And in episode 57 of The Ideal Life Club podcast I shared 5-steps you can start taking today to tap into the innate courage that lies deep within us all.⁠
